The Tartu 2024 side programme supplements the main programme with events taking place in Tartu and Southern Estonia over the next year. “Events in the side programme collaborate with us in marketing to enrich the Tartu 2024 programme with unique experiences. We can increase the visibility of the events here through our side programme,” says Tartu 2024 CEO Kuldar Leis.

Among others, representatives of the following fields or formats are welcome to apply: architecture, discussion, design, festival, film, education, literature, concert, fair or fair, exhibition, performance, party, folk culture, residency, sport, theatre and food culture.

The idea, history or novelty of the event to date, audience and the vision of being part of the side programme and time of the event are evaluated. Tartu 2024 Foundation makes the final choice of which events will be included in the side programme.
