The 17-time Grammy award-winning artist Sting will come to Tartu on 10 June for the title year of the European Capital of Culture.

The first major artist of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 is Sting, who will perform at Tartu Song Festival Grounds in 2024 with a special concert “My Songs”. This continues his world tour that has captivated audiences across the US, Europe, Asia, UAE and Australia.

Sting’s “My Songs” concert is a live and dynamic tour of his best-loved hits and includes his brilliant career both as a member of The Police and as a solo artist. At the concert you will hear beloved songs such as “Fields of Gold”, “Roxanne”, “Every Breath You Take”, “Message in a Bottle”. During the tour, Sting will be joined by a powerful rock band.

Both in his work and in his social life, Sting deals with the knowledge, skills and values that will help us live better in the future. The European Capital of Culture based its selection of the major artist on both Sting’s work and his social influence, which is linked to the creative concept of Tartu 2024, Arts of Survival.

The concert is part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 main programme.
