Info
People with disabilities culture festival is in 2024 already held for 28th time. It is a unique culture event with long traditions. Participants from all over Estonia are performing, singing, dancing, music and theatre, highlighting their talents and abilities. The event is free of charge, is fully accessible and will take place in the Vanemuine Concert Hall.
People with Disabilities Culture Festival started in Viljandi. During recent years, the festival has been held in different Estonian towns – Tartu, Rakvere, Tamsalu, Narva. In 2024, the festival is back in Tartu and we are expecting active participation from the performers and visitors. Festival is interpreted into Estonian sign language, we are providing information in easy to read language and ensure overall accessibility of the event. Performers are coming from all over Estonia and on the stage we have people with disabilities and groups of different disability organisations and care provision units. Detailed programme will be published in spring 2024, the festival is a full-day event.
XXVIII People with Disabilities Culture Festival in Estonia is a part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 main programme.
