Info
Valga Hot Shorts is finishing their program in VARES residency with an open air garden party.
Five themes of the first VHS are connected to the general artistic concept of Tartu 2024, concentrating on ways to survive and hopefully even thrive in a new world, the surrealism of the Anthropocene, the contradictions and compromises we need to have in order to save ourselves from ourselves, as well as looking for new possible routes to save nature and humanity. Five film cassettes, each concentrating on a specific subject, showcase what it means to be a human and how can we survive as a society in the era of chaos.
If you want to grab a bite or need a place to stay, see what the Tartu 2024 hospitality network offers in the area: https://tartu2024.ee/recommendations-valga
