Info

As part of the Tartu Food and Wine Festival, Stefan will perform on Car-Free Avenue on August 10th. Of course, the concert will be accompanied by good wine and conversation, fitting the event perfectly.

Stefan Airapetjan, known by his stage name STEFAN, is an Estonian singer and songwriter of Armenian descent, born in Viljandi. Stefan began singing at a young age and frequently participated in school singing competitions, often bringing home trophies. In 2022, Stefan won Eesti Laul with the western-inspired song “Hope,” which he performed to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.

At the end of 2022, Stefan released his debut album, “Hope,” featuring the single “Kiri külmkapi peal.” “Kiri külmkapi peal” became the most-played radio hit of 2023, and Stefan received the Golden Record award for this achievement for the third consecutive year.

On August 9-10, food gourmets will have particularly memorable experiences in Tartu, as the largest food and wine festival in Southern Estonia takes place, combining unique flavors with excellent wines.

On the main festival days, August 9 and 10, visitors are invited to downtown Tartu, where the food area is set up on Car-Free Avenue near the Kaarsild bridge. At the street food yard, one can enjoy both new and familiar flavors – it’s possible to dine at cozy pop-up eateries or grab a quick bite from street food trucks and relax in the picnic area. This time, the musical experiences will be created by Stefan, nublu r2imerahvas, ELLIP, and Endru & JeN Hovorka (CZ).
