It’s actually reasonable to come to the shores of the beautiful Ähijärv in the heart of Karula National Park at any time, but in addition to the late summer lush nature and the inviting lake for swimming, something special is happening on August 31st – we’re bringing together the old and the new, traditions and science. We’ll be fishing and preparing fish as they did in the past, having a Karula flavors market, a lake regatta, and exciting and educational activities for both adults and children.
