Info

The opening of the title year gathers momentum. Antsla, Rõuge, Setomaa and Võru parish and the city of Võru invite everyone to take part in a fun outdoor party.

Angus is a band from Southern Estonia that injects summery reggae and ska music into the winter darkness. At Tartu 2024 Southern Estonian celebrations, they join forces with the famous local musicians to bring new versions of beloved songs to the audience. They will be joined by Uku Suviste, who does not need a long introduction. The singer, who has been a blazing star in the sky of Estonian pop music for many years, comes to his birthplace to join the crowds in celebrating the arrival of the European Capital of Culture title year. In addition, on stage will be DJ iDJa from Sápmi who crafts a sonic experience that stretches from house, disco and techno to ambient soundscapes.
