Info

Valga county has the honour of hosting the inaugural European Capital of Culture celebration. Valga, Tõrva, and Otepää parishes join forces to kick off the festivities and officially launch the European Capital of Culture in Valga county.

Angus is a band from Southern Estonia that injects summery reggae and ska music into the winter darkness. At Tartu 2024 Southern Estonian celebrations, they join forces with the famous local musicians to bring new versions of beloved songs to the audience. In Valga, Karmen Rõivassepp, a jazz artist who is making waves in Denmark, will take the stage. The Danish Music Awards Jazz 2023 nominee returns to her homeland to enchant the Valga audience with her soothing voice. Our southern neighbours will also visit the border town of Valga. DJ Magnuss Eriņš from Latvia will turn up the heat with a DJ-set.
