Info
On 27 January, the Põlva, Kanepi, and Räpina parish will conclude the opening ceremonies of Tartu 2024. This is the last bow to the opening ceremony at the start of the cultural year in Southern Estonia.
Angus is a band from Southern Estonia that injects summery reggae and ska music into the winter darkness. At Tartu 2024 Southern Estonian celebrations, they join forces with the famous local musicians to bring new versions of beloved songs to the audience. They will be joined by Meelika Hainsoo, a folk musician from Põlva who promotes traditional Estonian culture. She seeks clarity, harmony, and beauty in her music, which she shares with the European Capital of Culture.
