Tartu 2024 opening ceremony will end with an unprecedented open-air rave in front of the Estonian National Museum. Free your soul, the dance floor is European Capital of Culture. The revival of Tartu's nightlife starts right now! Event is free.
Heidy Purga, Emily Makis & Hi-Phi (UK), Sound In Noise x Olivar ft. MC Slin and SIGMA Dj Set (UK) will perform.
The headliner SIGMA is one of the biggest drum and bass artists in the world, amassing over 7 million global sales. Hit singles “Nobody To Love”, “Changing” and “Find Me” will stay on your mind for days. SIGMA’s new album “London Sound” will be released on 26 January, and Tartu 2024 open-air rave is the official album launch party.
Emily Makis’ music is characterised by a mixture of dark and sweet sounds. Emily’s heavenly tracks are highly regarded in the UK underground scene and she is arguably one of the leading voices in drum and bass music today.
DJ Heidy Purga is most known for her soul music event “Must Mesi” that integrates soul, funk, rare grooves, disco, Afro, R&B, and hip-hop.
The father-son duo Sound in Noise (Eero Muiste) and OLIVAR (Rene Oliver Muiste) will hit the stage back to back. While father Eero makes loud drum and bass music, OLIVAR welds rap beats such as “Too mul lilli” by Reket.
