Info
Sports and Olympic Film Festival SOFF 2024 SOFF stands for the Sports and Olympic Films Festival, which is the first sports film festival in Estonia. It is initiated by the Estonian Sports and Olympic Museum located in Tartu and is taking place for the fourth time during the year when Tartu is the European Capital of Culture in 2024.
Persona Non Grata, director Antonin Svoboda, 2024
For the former alpine skier, everything was forgotten, the phantoms of the past pushed aside. But then one blow of fate followed another, and it was time to face the old demons and bring them to light forever. A story of liberation based on true events. A film about an extraordinary woman.
The film duration is 1 hour and 40 min.
Representatives of Estonian Anti-Doping and Sports Ethics Foundation – board member Henn Vallimäe and Chief Investigative Officer Remo Perli will participate in the discussion after the film. The discussion will be held in Estonian and conducted by the sports museum historian and ERR sports journalist Johannes Vedru.
All films of the Sports and Olympic Film Festival SOFF 2024 will be screened with Estonian and English subtitles at the Elektriteater in Tartu (Jakobi 1).
