Concierto de Aranjuez by  Joaquín Rodrigo

Priit Peterson has graduated classical guitar at the Tartu Heino Eller Music School and has master’s degree from University of Music FRANZ LISZT. Priit has repeatedly won the “Best Young Instrumentalist” guitar competition of the Union of Estonian Music Schools. He has also been a laureate of several international guitar competitions, the most prestigious has been the Hannabach Preis competition in Germany, where he won 3rd place in the final.

The members of the string quartet Prezioso are Hanna-Liis Nahkur (violin), Mari-Katrina Suss (violin), Helena Altmanis (viola) and Andreas Lend (cello) and the collective has been active since 2006. All four musicians graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where the quartet was supervised by Henry-David Varema. In addition to playing the quartet, Hanna-Liis, Mari-Katrina and Helena are members of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra and Andreas are cellists at the Estonian National Opera.

Prezioso’s play is characterized by energy, intensity and youthfulness, but human depth and ethics are also very important and close to the soul of the quartet’s musicians.
