School canteens located in Elva Valla open their doors to all interested parties, where you can taste the school meals of 7 different schools during the week! The week ends with a practical family and information day.

During the week, anyone interested can visit the dining halls of Elva Valla, where school lunches are offered to guests. It brings people closer to school lunches and dispels myths that school meals are bad. The week of open dining halls culminates with a family and information day, where various knowledge and practical skills related to food are brought together.

If you attend our family and information day on October 5, you will leave:

• With new and much-needed knowledge about school and kindergarten food – a unique opportunity to participate in a seminar organized by Meelte Kool, which includes: practical techniques for shaping children’s eating habits; nutrition that supports children’s health and sensory-based food education at home (how to introduce children to new foods through all of our senses).
• Knowing why organic food is important;
• With two new smoothie recipes, the making of which will also be taught to your child/youth on the spot;
• We will try out new ideas for your child to cook at home after school;
• See, touch, taste and feel exciting foods, tastes and smells;
