At the end of April, the Goethe-Institut will open the “Uudishimu ministeerium” in Tartu.
Estonia has been a member of the European Union for 20 years, Tartu is the European Capital of Culture and the Goethe-Institut Estonia is celebrating its 25th anniversary: In 2024 we have every reason to celebrate – and the “Uudishimu ministeerium” (Ministry of Curiousness) is the right place for that.
At the end of April, the Goethe-Institut will open the “Uudishimu ministeerium” in Tartu. For two weeks we dare to look ahead: How diverse will our society be in the future? How accessible will be our events, institutions, and cities? What does sustainability mean to us? How will we learn languages in the future? How are we going to live up to the European idea? The programme includes literature, film, art, music, panel discussions.
