Culture Wednesdays in Elva

The summer Culture Wednesdays in Elva are part of the additional program of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024.

Every Wednesday evening at 7 PM, come to Elva town square and be a part of Cultural Wednesday. Every Wednesday from June 26 to July 31, you have the chance to experience delightful and unique concerts.

🕖 July 26 at 7 PM – Elva groups including the women’s dance group Sinilind, women’s choir Kaja, Suureline, women’s dance group Helbe, and Flamenco will kick off the summer and the Cultural Wednesdays concert series.

🕖 July 3 at 7 PM – Puhja Community Center groups concert “Evening Beauty”. Performing are the women’s choir Läte, men’s ensemble, guitar ensemble Ümarlaud, mixed dance group Opsal, and social dance group Sügisõied. Guest performance by the mixed dance group Tuulispastel from Tartu.

🕖 July 10 at 7 PM – Clarinet Summer Elva 2024 concert.

🕖 July 17 at 7 PM – Hellenurme Community Center groups concert.

🕖 July 24 at 7 PM – Performance by the Konguta women’s ensemble Mesi and Haaslava Men’s Choir double quartet Väike Punt.

🕖 July 31 at 7 PM – Rõngu Community House, Kristel Tikku’s original songs concert. Performing are the Rõngu Community House mixed ensemble and women’s ensemble Astra, along with the Kambja women’s ensemble Lüüra. Interludes provided by young folk dancers.

The concerts will take place outdoors in all weather, so dress accordingly!
