Juhan Liiv's jubilee year celebration with a literary conference and choir concert.
On April 30, 2024, 160 years will pass since the birth of one of Estonia’s most important poets, Juhan Liiv. The worthy anniversary will be celebrated with the literary conference “Juhan Liiv at the center of Estonian culture and at the threshold of world literature” and Pärt Uusberg’s author’s concert for Juhan Liiv’s texts (SOLD OUT). The event will take place on April 30 at the poet’s birthplace in Alatskivi.
Juhan Liiv 160 is a part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 main programme.
