Tartu Culture Cup 2024 is an international football festival for youth and also part of the European Capital of Culture 2024 Tartu program. We invite up to 140 teams and over 2000 young athletes from different countries to compete in Tartu. Through sport and culture we want to introduce participants, coaches and parents our country and European Capital of Culture 2024 - Tartu.
International youth football festival Tartu Culture Cup 2024 will take place from 1st to 4th August 2024 all over the football fields of Tartu. Festival area is located at the city centre of Tartu and festival grand opening ceremony with a parade is also taking place there. Every age group finals will be held at the main arena of Tamme Stadium on the 4th of August and the festival ends with spectacular award ceremony.
Tartu Culture Cup fills the hotels and hostels of Tartu for four days. We expect up to 140 teams and over 2000 young athletes from many different countries to compete in Tartu. in 2023, Tartu Culture Cup hosted 86 teams from Estonia, Latvia Lithuania, Finland, Ukraine and Spain. Our goal for 2024 is to host at least 40 teams outside from Estonia from 6-8 countries to compete here in Tartu.
As a city, Tartu has all requirements to host large sport events. Through great organization our goal is to grow the reputation of Tartu as a destination of youth sports events and give our contribution to revive the business enironment of Tartu.
