Full moon canoe trip

Exciting and romantic torchlight canoe trip during the full moon night. Full moon canoe trip is a part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 side programme.

Canoeing on a night time is absolutely bewitching experience: the colors of sunset, the lights of torches, night sounds and haze over water, city lights reflecting in the waters of river – all this evokes a sensation of the mystical.

Our instructor takes you through the natural outskirt of Tartu upstream to the village Kvissentali, where we turn back and follow the river back to the city. For the purpose of illuminating and creating atmosphere there are torches attached to the bows of canoes.

Participating the event is also suitable for the beginners.

Adventure lasts about two hours.

PRICE
Participation fee is 30 euros per person.

Price includes:
– Seat in the canoe
– Paddle
– Life jacket
– Professional instructions and support before and during the trip

In case of bad weather the trip is postponed and participants can re-register for another nightly trip free of charge.
