European Film Festival at Tartu Elektriteater is a part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 side programme.
In 2024, when we celebrate Tartu as the European Capital of Culture, the movie theater Tartu Elektriteater welcomes you with an excellent selection of European cinema. Each of the movies sheds light, in their own way, on our Arts of Survival.
The screenings take place every Monday at 6 PM from 29 January to 22 April. The entrance is free.
The festival is organized in cooperation of Tartu 2024, Tartu Elektriteater and EUNIC, EU National Institutes for Culture: French Institute of Estonia, Embassy of Sweden, Embassy of Denmark, Embassy of Poland, Embassy of Lithuania, Embassy of Austria, Embassy of Italy, Embassy of Czech Republic, Embassy of Spain, Goethe Institute, Embassy of Ireland, Liszt Institute, European Parliament Office in Estonia.
