Info
On October 26, the Estonian cyclo-cross championships will take place. A short technical cycling track will be set up in Anne kanal. Estonian champions aged 15-80 will be announced at the competition.
Estonian championships in cyclo-cross are organized on a short technical circuit (2.5–3.5 km), which includes various natural and artificial track sections and obstacles, which to overcome the rider often has to carry a bike. Cyclo-cross uses a bike similar to a road bike. Cyclists aged 15-80 who have an EJL license can participate in this competition.
There is room in the competition centre to move with wheelchairs, strollers and other aids. A commentator will also comment on the course of the competition on the spot. Public spaces near the campus are wheelchair-friendly and have ramps and disabled toilets. People with special needs can observe the event and move freely around the competition campuses.
The Estonian championships in cyclo-cross are part of the additional program of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024.
