Estonia diatonic accordion gala concert

A day filled with enjoyable Teppo accordion music. The best players from all over Estonia gather in Tartu. In the evening, there's a gala concert in the theater hall of the Vanemuine Grand House.

We are reviving the Tartu Accordion Festival that took place from 1991 to 2012. In the past, Teppo diatonic accordion and Tartu were synonymous. The Tartu Diatonic Accordions Association wishes to revive this tradition.

As part of Tartu 2024, a concert will take place at the Vanemuine Concert Hall. You can listen representatives from different generations and playing styles, aged 14 to 84. In the past, it was quite common to hear Teppo-type accordion music in Tartu’s city, and the nonprofit organization Tartu Lõõtsad aims to revive this tradition. The concert will feature solo performances, exciting duos, and powerful group playing. It is rare to gather such a lineup on one stage. Come and be part of a historic event!
