Tantsunädal is a week long propaganda of dance. During this time Viljandi will be covered with different possibilities and manifestations of dance. There will be enough dance for all who wish to see, hear, discuss and of course dance it.

Tantsunädal will be held for the 19th time in 2024 and it is a part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 main programme. The aim of the sub programme “Ecological footprint in dance and performing arts” is to introduce the concept of sustainable dance and performing arts in general and in more concrete forms through lectures, workshops and an artist residency.
