To celebrate the year as the European Capital of Culture, Car-Free Avenue is taking on an international dimension this time. On July 18th, Finnish band Sagastrophe will take the stage!
Sagastrophe’s songs tell your story. Emotions, experiences, longings and losses. The path is familiar, yet something’s different. A touch on a place only music can reach.

The independent group, based in Liminka/Oulu, Northern Ostrobothnia, Finland, are currently recording their second LP, to be released at the end of 2024. From debut album Strange Dreams, through Nevertales EP to the latest singles Kalifornia and Renée, the sound of Sagastrophe is ever-evolving, inviting the listener on a magical adventure.
These tunes are as hard to categorise, as they are to forget!
