On 7 May, Polish Flag Day will be celebrated in Tartu with several different events throughout the day.
This year marks the passing of 440 years since Polish King Stefan Batory gave the Polish flag colours to the city of Tartu. To celebrate that, various events will take place on the 7th of May – a historical-literary tour “Traces of Poland in Tartu”, celebrating Polish Flag Day on the Town Square and performance “Echoes” by street theatre Migro (Poland).
