Bicycle tour and a guided painting workshop in Otepää’s scenic landscapes

During the hike, we cycle through the most beloved painting places of Estonian painters with beautiful views around Otepää. At the stops painter Alo Aarsalu reveals the peculiarities of the natures and world of thought of well-known artists as Konrad Mägi, Johannes Uiga etc. At the end of the hike, each participant can create their own artwork under the guidance of painters Alo and Maire Aarsal

It is a unique combination of a nature hike and a creative workshop.
The event lasts about 6 hours in total and is divided into three parts:
– for an approx. 1-hour lecture before the hike, where we will see the wonderful paintings of Estonian artists from the Otepää region and discover their painting techniques;
– for approx. 2-hour bike tour with stops. In total, we cycle up to 14 km (the pace is very moderate);
– for an approx. 3-hour painting workshop. NB! Previous painting experience is not necessary! The workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced painting enthusiasts.
The instructors of the painting workshop are the painters Maire and Alo Aarsalu, both of whom are instructors at Konrad Mägi Atelier, and Maire Aarsalu is also a painting lecturer at the Art School in Pallas.

The trip also includes meals. Transportation back to the starting point of the hike is organized.
