Info

20/20 Film Festival is a three-day festival dedicated to cinematography, music and literature.

Finding herself destitute and homeless, Marise La Noue runs away to Paris with the mayor’s son, Jean Leonnec, to be married. They are separated; in time, he becomes a thief, and she becomes a woman on the streets. Years later, they meet again. He is arrested and, after serving a prison term, returns to find her. This is a drama of vivid crime and tingling love in the Paris underworld.

The Red Lily is a 1924 American silent drama film directed by Fred Niblo and starring Ramon Novarro, Enid Bennett, and Wallace Beery.

Maris Pihlap will create the music for the film, and Lilli Luuk has written and will perform his new literary work inspired by the film.

Maris Pihlap is a singer, producer, and DJ whose journey started as a fiddler in folk music but has moved into electronic music and songwriting. Her awareness of tradition is reflected in her soft and sensitive sound, which contains an Estonian essence even in the most foreign-sounding beats. Maris takes the listener on a journey to the heartlands of electronic pop, funk, and jazz, where everything unexpected and unexpected is woven into one whole with playful ease. In her fantasy world, genres do not exist, boundaries are there to be crossed, and expectations are there to be overturned.

Lilli Luuk entered the Estonian literature field in 2017 with the short story “Auk”. From the beginning, the background of her work has been the pivotal periods of recent history, and the focus has been on ordinary people. Luuk published the novel “My Brother’s Body” and the short prose collection “Kolhoosi Miss” in 2022.
