Call for young volunteers: Join the Tartu 2024 European Solidarity Corps Teams Project!

Greetings from Tartu, the European Capital of Culture in 2024! We’re thrilled to extend our warm invitation to the youth of our fellow European Capitals of Culture (ECoCs) to join us in celebrating a year of cultural vibrancy and togetherness.

    Tartu 2024 is Estonia’s main event, showcasing unique cultural experiences throughout the enchanting landscapes of Tartu and Southern Estonia. Our artistic concept, “Arts of Survival,” promises a year filled with creativity, resilience, and celebration. Mark your calendars for the grand reveal of our complete program on October 19, 2023, with the festivities commencing on January 26, 2024.

  • European Solidarity Corps Teams Project

    Tartu 2024 invites dedicated young volunteers from our fellow ECoCs to collaborate with our local youth in Tartu. Together, we will craft an international youth party on February 10th that promises unforgettable memories. Additionally, we extend an exclusive invitation to join us for the grand opening ceremony of Tartu 2024 on January 26, 2024!

Main Activities

Get ready to embark on an adventure of creativity and camaraderie as you work hand in hand with local youngsters to organize an exciting youth party in Tartu. Bring your unique interests, skills, and hobbies to the table to initiate fresh ideas for event organization. Encourage and empower local youth as you collaborate on activities such as:

  • Crafting eye-catching decorations and art installations for the festival.
  • Preparing engaging workshops tailored to your interests.
  • Hosting international guest and youngster.
  • Capturing behind-the-scenes moments and festival highlights through photography and video.

Participant Age

18-30

Accommodation and Meals

Covered by the program, including shared rooms in a nearby hostel and a food budget. Participants will also receive a daily pocket allowance of 5€ a day.

Travel

Reimbursements according to the Erasmus+ travel distance calculator.

Provided by HENNER.
