International Theatre Festival for Young Audiences NAKS
5–9 November, Tartu city
The NAKS festival showcases the diversity of theatre for children and young people. Over five days, theatre in differnt genres will be on show: visual theatre, puppet theatre, spoken word, dance and contemporary circus. The programme also includes productions for audiences that are generally less likely to experience theatre, such as people with special needs and babies.

At the sub-exhibition in the Tartu City Museum, you can witness the creativity and resourcefulness that urban Soviet citizens had to possess. You can also see a home photo lab built in a small city home bathroom. The sub-exhibition is made based on the recollections of Tartu residents.

It explores the methods people used to get around and how essential machines were invented and constructed, both in garages and sheds, but also within government institutions.
