Tartu [pre]opinion Festival

The Opinion Festival is coming to Tartu for the very first time. On May 17-18, Tartu Keskpark will become the heart of exciting discussions focusing on Tartu and Southern Estonia.

The [pre]opinion Festival is a local discussion event that travels around Estonia, inspired by the lively atmosphere of the Opinion Festival held in Paide. At the festival, you can visit 4 different discussion areas, where 4 engaging discussion panels will take place on both days. The discussions will be led by specialists in their fields – experts and leaders, offering a fantastic opportunity to hear opinions directly from the source. Attendees are encouraged to participate and share their thoughts on topics close to their hearts.

This year’s festival stands out with its innovative hybrid format – it features a Hybrid European Democracy Festival hub in the heart of our event that connects with 15 other European university cities. This allows all participants to share and discuss local issues and find solutions with fellow Europeans.

Everyone is welcome to our festival, whether you want to join in the discussion or just to listen. Discussions will be held in Estonian and English. We will also have fun activities for children available at the festival’s kids area.
