Peipsiääre community festival “Bridges”

On May 19, 2024, the Peipsiääre community festival "Bridges" will take place in Koosa.

Bridges connect lands and people. Building a bridge can sometimes take years, yet it can be destroyed in a moment. We are all creators of bridges, and sometimes also destroyers. (KAHH Development Agency)

At the Peipsiääre community festival, various communities of the municipality have the opportunity to introduce their activities, get to know others, and exchange experiences. The community festival program includes lectures and discussions on topics important to communities, performances by the municipality’s amateur groups can be watched, participation in various workshops is available, and one can enjoy the flavors of Peipsiääre in festival cafes.

The Peipsiääre community festival “Bridges” is held as part of the events of the Tartu World University and is organized by the Peipsiääre municipal government and the University of Tartu’s Ethics Center. The Tartu World University project is part of the main program of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024.
