Tartu 2024 Volunteer Coordinator Martha Liise Kapsta: The role of volunteers in the organisation of European Capital of Culture events is invaluable! Without volunteers we would get nowhere. Behind the scenes of the European Capital of Culture are exciting and open many doors, giving you the opportunity to grow your network and be a part of something great and powerful! European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 seeks support in organising cultural events in Tartu and Southern Estonia this summer (June-August 2022). People from different backgrounds are welcome to apply: those who want to develop new skills, but also professionals who are ready to share their skills with others.
Volunteers are recruited for various tasks. These include sharing information, guiding foreign visitors, setting up technology, promoting environmentally friendly practices, creating social media content and recording the events. Candidates can indicate their preferences and wishes.

The questionnaire can be completed in both Estonian and English.
The deadline for filling in the questionnaire is 31 May. After filling in the questionnaire, the candidates are invited to a group interview.
