Night Folk Dance Festival

Kubija vabaõhulava
One mysterious midsummer night in Kubja strobes will flash and brooches will sparkle in the night’s darkness. Ancient symbols and patterns collide on the dance stage while phantoms, elves and other fantastical creatures creep around the ancient woods of Kubja. The name Paganlik pärimusÖÖ signifies a night (ÖÖ), where old traditions come to life.

Ryoji Ikeda's solo exhibition

Ikeda will return to Estonia more powerfully than ever before! Ikeda will create two new works for the Estonian National Museum: an audiovisual installation based on the scientific data of the Institute of Genomics, University of Tartu, and a sound installation created in collaboration with the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir.

Czech and Estonian surrealist surrealism enters a dialogue to focus on the artistic narrative in the context of Eastern and Central Europe.
