Info

Exhibited are works that have been completed with a 30-year time shift. Opposing the body and absurdity through the projection on the body.

The idea of the exhibition started from the works left in the drawer, which were created in the analog era, between 1992-1993 in the midst of total political and cultural change. Due to the huge changes and the turning of the author’s main attention to the digital world, the works remained in the drawer. Obviously, it was waiting for a new life. The young author’s sense of protest and manipulation of the absurd accompanied by melancholic notes can be found in the works. He was influenced by absurd, melancholy, electropunk music. Today, we have returned to the era of Social Melancholy, inspired by post-covid and the new cult of personality, inspired by the war, which inspired the second half of the works in the exhibition, where the mind and body could be in better harmony than 30 years ago. But either it is or we are already virtual.
