Ruutu10, Peaasi.ee and Improbable (a theatre company founded in the UK in 1996) invite you to the improv festival! You have the opportunity to participate in improv workshops and let loose with laughter at the evening performances.

Everyone is welcome, both those with years of experience in improv and those who are just starting to explore the world of improv. Together, we can challenge ourselves in workshops and then analyze the impact on our mental health. We’ll conclude the evening with laughter-filled performances by improv students, actors from Improbable, and veterans from Ruutu10!

The event will be conducted in both Estonian and English (refer to the workshop titles).

Improv Festival Schedule:
11:00-13:00 Workshop 1: Intro to Improv / Workshop 2: English-language workshop by Improbable

14:00-16:00 Workshop 3: Moment-to-Moment Improv / Workshop 4: English-language workshop by Improbable

18:00-21:30 Performances

The project “Stand up for your mind!” is part of the main programme of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024.

In addition, community stand-up shows are part of the project “Supporting mental health through community-based activities in the counties of Southern Estonia”, which is being implemented with the support of the Active Citizens Fund, facilitated by the Open Estonia Foundation in collaboration with the Association of NGOs.
