Info
International creative camp for youth YOUNG notafe is part of the European Capital of Culture Tartu 2024 sideprogram and takes place for 9th time. During five days, an international group of young people interested in performing arts communicate, train, experience and create. On the fifth day they invite everyone to a public performance that reflects their previous days. We communicate in English.
YOUNG notafe is a creative camp for children who enjoy performing arts and learning about different cultures. They will participate in workshops and masterclasses for four days until transforming their new knowledge into a collective performance on the fifth day. It represents both shared experiences and the cultural specificities of each participant group. During the visit, children from Viljandi will ensure that guests get to know our city in a way that is familiar to them. So far, we have had wonderful experiences working with youth groups from the Moradokmai theatre community (Thailand), Mumbai (India), Joensuu (Finland), Ukraine, Zambia, Rakvere, Tallinn, and Haapsalu. On 2024 we welcome new friends from Holtz Ballet Studio in Ahrensburg, Germany. List of patricipants is not closed, so we are looking forward to greeting more new youngsters that have the appetite for performing arts!
