Every summer Hanseatic Days take place in Viljandi to commemorate the city’s golden age, when membership of the Hanseatic League brought wealth and ambitious ideas to its people. You are welcome to visit Viljandi Hanseatic Days 2024 on 7.-9. June.

For one weekend Viljandi old town and downtown become one big market and festival place where traders and crafters offer their best goods, food trucks sell their best street food and you can enjoy diverse culture program.
You are welcome to visit Hanseatic Handicraft Fair, culture programme at different areas, late night concerts, Art Street, Coffe Night, Creative City Viljandi program, sports competitions at the shore of lake Viljandi, children’s and youth activities in oldtown and downtown.
