6-day instrument building workshop guided by master instrument maker Mihkel Soon.
Crafting an instrument: väikekannel
Väikekannel, the oldest type of Estonian traditional zither, has been in use in this region for at least thousand years. It is hollowed out of one solid piece of wood and has six to 12 strings.
Basic woodworking skills are recommended.
