Fragments of culture from around the world will bring excitement and liveliness to the heart of Tartu.
Throughout the day, in various locations around Tartu – on the Emajõgi riverside promenade, in Pirogov Park, and near the Kaubamaja shopping centre – you will encounter snippets of different cultures presented through song, dance, and music. Small concerts will lead up to the evening concert and dance party “Laia ilma peal” at the Vanemuine Concert Hall.
Performing at the city concerts will be the Baltic Youth String Orchestra, the Estonian-Ukrainian Singing Circle, the Elva Music School accordion ensemble, the Tampere and Pori Vingerpussid, the runo song ensemble Väike Hellero, and Oskar Nursi.
