Kõivualutse fair

The traditional country fair takes place in Põlvamaa, Kanepi municipality, in the village of Ihamaru, on a four-lane birch alley along Postitee, which is considered the most beautiful road in Estonia.

The said birch alley has been a beautiful symbol of our village for decades. We would like to consecrate this 1,5 kilometer long road section and recognize it with a folk party with dancing, trolling, trading and food.
A fair takes place in its best sense, where a trader or producer within the borders of Old-Võrumaa is represented, but a place of sale can also be found further afield with dignified handicrafts and taste experiences.
The day is filled with a rich cultural program.
There will also be an auction of Postitee Puupäävede sculptures.
