For the first time Rõuge municipality home cafe days will take place, where 20 different home cafes will open their doors. We are waiting for you to take an adventure on a two-day crooked food road, because this is the specialty of our region. Here you can take part in the activities, traditions and customs of our people and enjoy the local flavors.

The entire region of Rõuge municipality is involved in the activities of the food road of Rõuge municipality, which reflects the five regions: Paganamaa, Haanimaa, special features of Missomaa, Rõuge, Mehkamaa. On cafe days days food producers and providers are mainly given preference for their own produce – from their own garden, forest, farm, etc. Ooo… the delicious homemade food that is made around here, the wonderful places, our people, the culture, the super cool sights and places to rest, plus the accommodation options… You just have to experience it all!

The project is a part of the main program of Tartu 2024.
